The Ascom i62 VoWLAN telephone (Voice over WLAN) is perfect for adding cordless functionality to an elmeg hybird telephone system. Using a WLAN network as a cordless telephone network is an interesting alternative to the established DECT technology. The Ascom i62 simply uses the WLAN for its radio network, eliminating the need to install a separate DECT radio network. The sophisticated energy saving features of the telephone are compatible with bintec access points such as the W1002n, allowing battery runtimes of up to 100 hours of standby time and 15 hours of talk time.
