NUREMBERG. Teldat (formerly Funkwerk Enterprise Communications) has successfully completed IP Forum's internationally recognized IPv6 Ready program and been awarded IPv6 certification. With its IPv6 implementation in the bintec RS- and R-series routers, Teldat was the first router manufacturer in Germany to qualify.
 
The certified bintec gateways meet the guidelines of the certification program and conform to the specifications in the IPv6 RFC. They are compatible with other IPv6-ready network components such as printers, PCs, and server operating systems.

Andreas Roeck, product manager at Teldat, explains: "The IPv6 certification is additional confirmation that today's Teldat solutions are already perfectly capable of meeting the demands of tomorrow - making them sound, future-proof investments for businesses. We're also going to be showing visitors at CeBIT how they can get started in the world of IPv6 with Teldat."

To ensure the road to the future follows the most efficient route, the Teldat academy will be offering an IPv6 Knowledge Workshop for the certified gateways. Teldat is providing the training for all customers and affiliates who want to learn about the new technology while earning a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
