Before sending in your device for repair or exchange, use our support hotline to detect possible other problems in the environment of the device than a hardware defect. This will help you to prevent errors in your fault diagnostics and consequential charges.
To make handling as easy and quickly as possible for you, we kindly ask you to pay attention to the following procedure:

• For each processing of DOA (Dead On Arrival), Warranty or Repair you have to apply for an RMA number.
• It is necessary to obtain a separate RMA number for every defective device. This keeps transactions transparent for you as well as for us, since we can track which stages the router has passed through.

Repair processing has to be initated online or via your sales partner / distributor. If your device fail within the warranty period, repair is free of charge, of course. The repair processing time average out 10 working days.

In general, the DOA limit is 30 days after delivery to the end customer. Devices, which fail, within this period, will be replaced by  an advanced replacement free of charge. Together with the spare part device, you will receive a return label. Thus you can sent back the defective device free-of-charge!

If you want to have your own device returned after repair, you have to choose the Standard Repair Procedure above. The repair processing time average out 10 working days.

Teldat GmbH offers a replacement in advance or a Pick-Up service for handling of hardware defects. A replacement device will be delivered on the next working day in most cases. For the advanced replacement the customer is responsible for the return. At the Pick-UP service we will pick up also the defective device. The Pick-UP service is a charged service.

The advance replacement will be offered only for Voice, WLAN products and the new product line RS-, R- and RT-Serie within the warranty period for free! Together with the spare part device, you will receive a return label. Thus you can sent back the defective device free-of-charge!
If your warranty has expired, these services will cause additional costs. Pick-Up fees or costs for replacement in advanced will be collected via invoice.

The Pick-Up service or replacement in advance is available in following countries:

Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Great Britain, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal.

The new Service Packages will give you security and expand the capability of your company. Availability - that's the most important requierement of a central networking device! If worst comes, we support you with our new Service Packages over the long term.

By our new Service Packages, the warranty will be extended to 5 years in total (2 years standard warranty plus 3 years warranty extention), including replacement in advanced!

The licence for STAC and MPPC is necessary since software release 6.3.3 and a certain hardware status. If you request a licence key the hardware serial number will be checked, so that you see dirctly, if you need a licence key for your device. If you own an older device, you are able to use the functionality with release 6.3.3 without licence.
